VISION

Located in the historic core of Pune, Deccan Tower is envisioned as a vertical civic landmark. The project redefines the public building as a transparent interface between citizens and city rather than a singular monolith.

PROCESS

A compact irregular site led to a stacked program including a police station, banquet hall, guest suites and a rooftop restaurant. The terraced profile abstracts Pune’s hillscape, creating a rhythm of solids and voids that bring daylight deep into the building. Exposed concrete pairs with deep fenestration, vertical fins and warm cladding to balance presence with approachability.

At street level, the police station remains open and legible through a shaded arcade and clear signage. The design reconciles complex codes and multi-agency needs into a calm and rational architectural system.

OUTCOMES

Deccan Tower integrates civic infrastructure with public amenity and architectural clarity. Efficient circulation improves operational performance while varied spaces support events and hospitality. The building stands as a confident urban marker of trust, transparency and progress.
