VISION

Within a large industrial campus, the office is conceived as a pavilion of calm. The site’s lake inspires an architecture of reflection that softens the surrounding factory context. Drawing from the Bengali haveli, the design translates domestic grace into institutional presence.

PROCESS

A square plan is organized around a planted courtyard that regulates microclimate and offers a quiet retreat. Continuous glazing opens the interior to water and landscape, while slender steel columns and terracotta cladding evoke rhythmic Bengali colonnades.

A floating roof canopy shades the structure. Proportion and material are tuned to dissolve boundaries between building and setting.

OUTCOMES

The building reframes the corporate workplace as a space of stillness and connection. Passive strategies such as natural ventilation, solar shading and thermal mass reduce energy use while enhancing comfort. The project establishes a new workplace typology for industrial campuses, where performance and serenity coexist.
